Why is creatinine test requested for a patient undergoing treatment for diabetes? What is its significance and implications?

Creatinine Test
Creatinine test is needed to monitor the creatinine levels in the blood. Increased creatinine levels indicate possible kidney damage. Some of the medications rampantly used to treat diabetes is so strong that it can affect and damage the kidney.
